Nature’s Window
This project was inspired by one of my closest friends, Linda Neff. Linda is an amazing artist and this piece of art was published in a national magazine a few years ago. (Click on her name to read about it on her blog).
The project now hangs in her studio and the last time I was there, I asked her if I could do my own spin on it …

Faux Metal Embossing
I love learning new techniques and get even more excited when I create them myself.
Here’s one I came up with that I call faux metal embossing. Granted, there may be others who have done something similar, or even the same thing — great minds think alike — but I discovered it all on my own.
I love how it turned out … it looks so rich and elegant.
This, by the way, is me when I was 6 months old with my Aunt Cheryl, who died when she was 16. A relative recently gave my mom this photo — we were unaware of its existence before then, so I thought it deserved a little special treatment with products from Globecraft Memories.
