Flower Fairy

The challenge on the Just Imagine Kreaxions post today was to do something for Halloween, with pumpkins or something orange.

I opted to hang onto summer for just a little longer.

I started with a pre-embossed card and cut a hole in the center with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.

I added a few flowers and pearls to the front …

kreaxion_sept_candy_spiegel2Inside, I added a bit of orange cardstock and then a piece of X-Press It Cardstock (my preferred choice for coloring with Copics.)

The image, from Whipper Snapper Designs, was stamped with Memento Ink and then colored with Copic markers. I added a bit of Rock Candy Stickles to the wings. Then I stamped the sentiment (from Close to My Heart).

I think she’s adorable and I love how easy she is to see through the circle opening I created.

Hopefully I used enough orange to pass muster!

Happy Halloween

I know it’s too early for Halloween … but Karen Burniston came out with this adorable ghost charm for Elizabeth Craft Designs¬†and I had a post due for Just Imagine — Kreaxions, so …

I made it even easier by starting with a pre-embossed card. I cut the circle with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. I used an eyelet and a few jump rings to hang the little ghost charm. I added a bit of cardstock to the inside of the card so the ghost would stand out. Stamped a sentiment. And, there you have it … quick and easy enough to make for Trick-or-Treaters!
