July’s Designer Challenge for Elizabeth Craft Designs was to create a card using one of the new Stand-Up Helpers, as well as another using one of the new word Stand-Up Helpers in a different way.
I chose to use the same paper collection for both challenges … Indian Summer from We R Memory Keepers.
And, I used the same Stand-Up Helper — Happy Birthday — for both cards.
First, I used it as a Stand-Up Helper …
This type of card stands up when opened and the Happy Birthday keeps it in place.
I also used a vintage car Peel-Off sticker and Silk Microfine Glitter on this card. Then I colored it with Copic markers.
However, you do not have to use the Happy Birthday for a stand-up card. It also works as a sentiment.
On this card, I used the new Wheelbarrow Die and a flower die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I cut the wheelbarrow out twice — once with a Shimmer Sheetz and once with wood paper. I added Glitter Dots to the flower centers.
I hope you enjoyed my take on this month’s challenge … now head over to the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog to see what the other ladies created!
